PT CPI implements FinOps as a continuous practice—not a one-off “cost review” after a budget overrun. We align to the FinOps Framework: inform (visibility), optimize (rates and usage), and operate (governance rhythms). BigQuery billing exports, labels, and allocation tags become the source of truth for product and environment cost.
Engineering levers include Kubecost for Kubernetes visibility, Infracost for Terraform pull-request estimates, rightsizing recommendations, CUD/SUD strategy, and idle resource cleanup. We pair technical optimization with organizational habits: showback dashboards, anomaly alerts, and accountable owners per cost center.
Cost reduction is explicit in our delivery: we target measurable savings (waste elimination, architecture changes, storage tiering) while documenting trade-offs so product teams understand what they gain or give up—not just “turn everything off.”
